Yes. I found one publicly available FAST Data Science Tools and Techniques past paper, along with other materials you can use to prepare. The available paper is an older final, so check your current course outline before treating it as a guide to your exam.

1. An actual FAST final paper

The Spring 2019 paper is titled “Introduction to Data Science: Tools and Techniques” (DS500). It was set for MS Computer Science students at FAST Lahore. It is a three-hour final worth 48 marks, with questions on topics including clustering, classifier evaluation, regression, SVM and PCA. It is useful for practising those topics, but I could not verify that it matches the format of a current MS Data Science exam.

2. FAST MS Data Science study materials

A student-shared repository has a Tools and Techniques folder containing lecture slides, assignments and Python notebooks. Its materials cover data cleaning, preprocessing, visualisation, HDFS and MapReduce. This is a useful place to revise or practise, although I could not verify a Tools and Techniques past paper in that folder.

3. Guides for topics you need to revise

MIT’s Data Science Tools guides can help with overlapping skills such as handling data in Python/R, visualisation and SQL. They are supplementary guides, not FAST past papers.

FAST’s current MS Data Science study plan lists “Data Science Tools and Techniques” as DS5002. Because the paper above is the older DS500 paper for MS Computer Science, compare its questions with the topics your instructor has actually covered. Try the relevant questions yourself, then use the slides or notebooks to work on topics you found difficult.

If you need a recent DS5002 sessional or final, ask your class representative, TA or students from the previous batch. Include your campus, semester, instructor and whether you need a sessional or final. If anyone can share a newer paper here, please include those details so other students can tell which exam it belongs to.
